It's Monday! What Are You Reading?

It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? (4/10/2017)

It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? is a weekly post to share what you recently finished reading, what you’re currently reading, and what you plan on reading next. This is a terrific meme that allows you to meet fellow bookworms and find new books to add to your ever growing reading wish list.

This weekly post is hosted by Kathryn at Bookdate.

Last weekend I had a very relaxing beach getaway with my husband. On our way home we stopped by the Steinbeck Center in Salinas, CA. What a beautiful museum! I’m working on a blog post to highlight this terrific museum, with any luck I will have it posted in the next couple of weeks.

What I Read Last Week…

One Perfect Lie by Lisa Scottoline – is a mystery/thriller that centers around three high school students, their families, and Chris. Chris is not who he appears to be and has befriended these three high school students and plans on using one of them – for what, we do not know. (full review)

The Handmaid’s Tale by Margaret Atwood – I was really looking forward to reading this classic, it has been on my TBR list for quite some time. It started off promising but I’m afraid as I got deeper into the story it just wasn’t for me. (full review)

Currently Reading…

All the Best People by Sonja Yoerg – is a story of mental illness and its effects on family. The review on Goodreads for this book are fantastic so I am really excited to dive into it today.

Up Next…

Marlena by Julie Buntin – this is one of my BOTM picks from February, I’ve got some catching up to do.

What are you reading this week?

Feel free to follow me on Goodreads, Twitter, and/or Facebook.

Happy Reading!

    1. I’ve been hearing really good things about The Girl Who Was Taken. Looking forward to seeing what you think of it. I thinking I’m going to need to add it to my TBR list.
