It's Monday! What Are You Reading?

It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? (4/24/2017)

It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? is a weekly post to share what you recently finished reading, what you’re currently reading, and what you plan on reading next. This is a terrific meme that allows you to meet fellow bookworms and find new books to add to your ever growing reading wish list.

This weekly post is hosted by Kathryn at Bookdate.

It’s getting warmer outside and the rain is less frequent, so we decided this would be the perfect weekend for planting our garden. It just so happened to fall on Earth Day, a happy coincidence if I do say so myself. We are looking forward to lots of fresh vegetables and herbs in the coming weeks.

What I Read Last Week…

The Night the Lights Went Out by Karen White – is a fantastic book! I knew within minutes of starting it that I was going to love it. It has a little bit of romance, humor, friendship, and mystery. It is my favorite book of 2017 so far! (my full review)

Currently Reading…

The Fix by David Baldacci – I’ve been a David Baldacci fan for a couple of years now. This book is book 3 in the Amos Decker series. So far I am enjoying this mystery, it seems to be not so much of a “who done it” but more of a “why they did it”.

Up Next…

You Were Here by Gian Sardar – This is a First to Read win for me from a few weeks ago. It sounds like it could be a fun little mystery that I look forward to reading next.

What are you reading this week?

Happy Reading!

  1. I’ve heard so much great about The Night the Lights Went out. I guess I need to add it to my TBR pile. Best book of 2017 so far is high praise, indeed!

  2. Vegetables from the garden are always the best! And The Night The Lights Went Out does look really good… I’ve seen several good reviews now.
