It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? is a weekly post to share what you recently finished reading, what you’re currently reading, and what you plan on reading next. This is a terrific meme that allows you to meet fellow bookworms and find new books to add to your ever-growing reading wish list.
This weekly post is hosted by Kathryn at Bookdate.
Happy Monday!
I’m pleased to announce that I earned my NetGalley 10+ review badge this past week! With some self-control and lots of reading maybe I can earn my 80% soon.
I got to enjoy some poolside reading on Sunday and a garden update. School is out and summer has officially begun!
What I Read Last Week…
Here and Gone by Haylen Beck – Things go from bad to worse in this book. Audra is crossing the country to escape an abusive relationship only to find herself pulled over by a local sheriff in Arizona and that’s where the real nightmare begins. (my full review)
Currently Reading…
Seeing Red by Sanda Brown – I could not decide between this book and Final Girls by Riley Sager. So I flipped a coin, seriously…no joking…I flipped a coin and this book won!
My Cousin Rachel by Daphne Du Maurier – I decided to read a little bit of this book everyday in order to be done for the movie release on June 8th. I am close to being done and hope to see the movie this weekend.
This Is How It Always Is by Laurie Frankel – I was progressing nicely in this book while on my morning walks, until I stopped taking them. Ugh! Still loving it and hope to start it up again soon.
The Last Child by John Hart – My husband and I got about halfway through this book last weekend on our long road trip. We have another road trip in a couple of weeks that we will finish it on.
Up Next…
Final Girls by Riley Sager – I am finally going to read this book! I have been anticipating it for quite some time.
What are you reading this week?

Happy Reading!
Oh my goodness! Look at that pool! I’ve always wanted to have a waterfall for my pool but don’t have the space. It’s so relaxing reading by the pool – but very bright lol

Our pool was at 78 yesterday. The kids think it’s fine but it’s a bit too cold for me 😂 I want my pool to basically be a hot tub!

I couldn’t agree with you more! Once it hits 100 outside that should do it lol.

I’ll let you know as soon as I squeeze it in:) I’m super curious about it as it seems like a very word of mouth book. I hope you’ll also let me know what you think of The Last Child…that one had me so stumped

I will, I have a guess, but don’t have a lot of confidence in it.

I wouldn’t be reading by the pool. I’d be in it. Armchair Book Expo, getting ready to move, drama club, and a volunteers’ tea. Come see what I’m reading this week.

Reading by the pool looks amazing! It’s been rainy and a little cool here in New Jersey this week, but I’m ready for the warm weather!
I hope you enjoy your books this week!
