It's Monday! What Are You Reading?

It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? (11/27/2018)

It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? is a weekly post to share what you recently finished reading, what you’re currently reading, and what you plan on reading next. This is a terrific meme that allows you to meet fellow bookworms and find new books to add to your ever-growing reading wish list.

This weekly post is hosted by Kathryn at Bookdate.

On a personal note…

Thanksgiving was fantastic! I love nothing more than spending time with family. We played card games, ate way too much food, and I managed to do a little bit of reading.

I can’t believe that Christmas is right around the corner. I got a jump start on my Christmas shopping, but did it from the comfort of the sofa (I have no desire to hit the stores on Black Friday). We put up the outdoor lights and today I am going to start the indoor decorating. Call me crazy, we put up four trees in our house – the smallest being 2 feet tall and the largest will be our only real tree (7-8 feet tall).

What I Read Last Week…

End Game (Will Robie, #5) by David Baldacci – Truth be told this is not my favorite book in the series but I am still a fan. (review coming soon)

Currently Reading…

A Killer Harvest by Paul Cleave – I am about 20% in and am hooked. I have a feeling that things are going to get pretty crazy!

Up Next

When You Disappeared by John Marrs – This has been on my NetGalley shelf far too long!

Have you read any of these? What are you reading this week?

  1. I’ve heard good things about Paul Cleave’s books.

I also hate the stores on Black Friday…and even a few days afterwards. As for Christmas decorations, mine are pretty minimal…with no lights. Two miniature Christmas trees (I have a third, but didn’t put it up this year), and lots of Christmas bears and other trinkets to place here and there.

Enjoy your decorating…and your reading. Here are MY WEEKLY UPDATES

  2. I’m glad you had a great holiday. Christmas shopping is easy for me since I have such a small family but I haven’t started yet. I’ve been meaning to try Baldacci but haven’t yet. Come see my week here. Have a great week!
