My name is Tina and I welcome you to the new home for the
NetGalley & Edelweiss Reading Challenge!
Emily@Falling for YA created this challenge and passed the torch to Katrina@Bookish Things & More. Katrina has decided to step away from her book blog and pursue her passion for writing. I joined this challenge for the first time this year and have been enjoying it immensely. I was sad to see Katrina leave her love of blogging about books behind, but am quite excited for her to have more time to dedicate to writing. I wish her the best of luck!
Being that this challenge is now being hosted on a new site and the year is more than half over, I think this would be a great time to check in with all of you. I would love to hear from you in the comments below. How is the challenge going for you? What is your goal? How many have you reviewed?
My goal is 25 (Silver) and I have reviewed 18. I have no doubt I will complete my goal, so I’m pretty excited about that!
August Link-Up…
- Submitting format: Title of book reviewed (Your Name and Blog).
- Inlinkz will remain open until August 31.
- Questions: Leave me a comment below, email me – readingbetweenthepagesblog@gmail.com, or use my contact page.
- Hashtag: #NGEW2018
For the first time since starting my blog I am asking for your help in getting the word out. I could really use your help with spreading the word about this midyear host change for this challenge. Any sharing you can do on social media would be deeply appreciated!
Thank you for stopping by and I look forward to seeing what fabulous NetGalley and Edelweiss books you read and review the remainder of the year!
Let’s get social…

I’m pretty sure I signed up for this at the beginning of the year but didn’t realise there was a monthly link up, oops!

Oh no lol! There is still time to catch up if you want to link them 🙂

Thanks I’ll probably do that 😂

I don’t do a lot of challenges but this one looks interesting. Probably close to half the books I read are from Netgalley.

I’m not sure how to reblog if I don’t see a reblog button, but will post something about this on Saturday (already have a review on Friday). I caught up with my books on Bookish Things and will have two to post here soon….groan….I’m slow. Not sure why I didn’t get your post directly in my notifications, but been having a problem lately with WP deciding my notifications.

Oh no WP can be temperamental sometimes. The reblog button is to the left of the like button – should you decide to do that. I appreciate the shout out in any form to help get the word out!

yeah, but i can’t always find the like button either. in any case, i’ve screwed it up. most of my books are from NG, but realized i included some that were author requests. i’ll take them off my page. however, what happens after Inlinkz quits?

Once Inlinkz closes for the month you cannot delete them. No worries, mistakes happen.

Good to see you take over! I admit I totally forgot there were monthly linkups haha. I initially aimed for Silver, but I went a little ARC crazy again this year and somehow I’ve passed GOLD now. Oops? I might chance my goal to PLATINUM now since I’m at 59 NG ARCs. Retweeted your post for more attention! 🙂

Wow! I am impressed!! You should go for it and see if you can hit platinum 🙂
Thank you for the tweet! x

I might just do so! You’ve reminded me to change the name of the host to yours on my update post as well. 🙂

Yay! Thanks for taking over. I only started blogging in June so I just found the challenge! Excited that it’ll keep going!

Oh groan…sorry, but apparently I didn’t get the link correct or something happened to it. Now I’m back to add my August reads. InLinz has quit. How do I add August reads…and September? And btw, I have now corrected your link on my page.

You can just add the August reads to September. No worries!

I have been searching everywhere for you today! I didn’t know Katrin had stopped blogging, and I haven’t really kept up with the challenge this year as much as I usually do…
I have read and reviewed 22 NG or EW titles this year, so I’m definitely behind…
Are you hosting again next year?

I am so glad you found it! It is tricky making a midyear host change in a reading challenge and getting the word out. Linking those reviews is the hardest part of the challenge. It is so easy to forget.
Yes, I will be hosting it next year! I will post the sign-ups in mid-December.
Congrats on reading and reviewing 22!
