It's Monday! What Are You Reading?

It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? (August 12)

It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? is a weekly post to share what you recently finished reading, what you’re currently reading, and what you plan on reading next. This is a terrific meme that allows you to meet fellow bookworms and find new books to add to your ever-growing reading wish list.
This weekly post is hosted by Kathryn at Book Date.

Two books completed and both of them were 5 stars! That is what I call a good week!

I read Mr. Mercedes as part of an Instagram readalong that I am participating in this month. We are reading all three books in the Bill Hodges trilogy by Stephen King. One a week, with a discussion every Sunday. I am choosing to listen to the audio version narrated by Will Patton and it is fantastic!

Hangman has been hanging out on my Kindle for months now. I cannot believe I have not picked it up sooner. Better late than never!

What I Read Last Week…

Hangman (Fawkes and Baxter, #2) by Daniel Cole – I am thrilled that I have finally read book two in this series and will be reading book three any day now. With an ending like that it is a good thing I do not have to wait long! Inquiring minds want to know what will happen next!!

Mr. Mercedes (Bill Hodges, #1) by Stephen King – I loved the audio version of this thriller!

Currently Reading…

Everything You Are by Kerry Anne King – Starting this one today for a blog tour later this month.

Currently Listening…

Finders Keepers (Bill Hodges, #2) by Stephen King – I am also really excited to continue on with this trilogy today!

Up Next…

Home for Erring and Outcast Girls by Julie Kibler

  1. Some good books in your post. I read Mr. Mercedes a couple of years ago and don’t know why I didn’t continue to read the series. Thanks for the reminder. I am listening to The Peacock Summer and reading Things to Save in a Fire.
