It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? is a weekly post to share what you recently finished reading, what you’re currently reading, and what you plan on reading next. This is a terrific meme that allows you to meet fellow bookworms and find new books to add to your ever-growing reading wish list.
This weekly post is hosted by Kathryn at Book Date.

Along with many other parts of the world, this week we were officially ordered to “stay in place.” So what have I been up to? Hubby and I have been doing a bit of winter clean up in the yard and we planted the vegetable garden.
Now you would think with all this extra time on my hands I would be getting a ton of reading in. I wish! Unfortunately with everything going on in the world right now I just can’t seem to concentrate. Is anyone else having this problem?
Check out our vegetable garden, I can hardly wait until it starts bearing fruit!
While chatting with my book club yesterday, via text, we were introduced to Pluto. She is an adorable 4-legged dog out in a 2-legged world encouraging all of us to “stay in place” and “practice social distancing.” She has a really good message for all of us in a lighthearted way! Here is Pluto’s first video.
What I Finished Last Week…
And They Called It Camelot by Stephanie Marie Thornton – I loved this audiobook! It spans decades starting from the time when Jackie meets JFK, their marriage with all of its up and downs, his death, and the lengths she will go to to protect her children. I highly recommend this book!
Currently Reading…
The One by John Marrs – It is a brand new week, with a brand new book and I am going to do everything I can to regain my focus!
Currently Listening…
The Murmur of Bees by Sofia Segovia – This is my book club read. Looks like we won’t be able to meet to talk about it in person, but I am looking forward to listening to it nonetheless.
Up Next…
House of Lies by Terry Lynn Thomas
What are you currently reading?
Let’s get social…
Enjoy your reading!
When I have my own garden, I also want to grow vegetables! Will feel so satisfying haha!
I’m currently reading The girl in red!

Nice looking assortment of books. We still have quite a bit of snow on the ground and gardening (if I did any) is still at least six weeks away where I live. I do like the way you have your garden set up. I hope you find a wonderfully distracting book to take your mind off all the bad news. Come see my week here. Happy reading!

Yes, same here, with the inability to focus and concentrate! Our stay in place order is tightening up tomorrow, but I’ve been pretty much home because I was sick and no one wants you to come in when you’re even the slightest bit sick anymore. I think the library will be closed after today, anyway. Our neighbors were out cleaning up their yard all weekend, making us feel guilty about our messy yard, but today is cold again, so a good excuse to stay snuggled up inside.

Yes, I’m having difficulty concentrating! I even resorted to chic lit this past week!!! I’m finding I can’t do anything heavy. Congrats on the veg garden! That effort will be so worth it as you begin to enjoy your harvest! I’m eager to read Camelot!!!

I think you will enjoy Camelot. I was tempted to try a chic lit myself, but so far I am enjoying my current book.
