What a fantastic year 2018 was and a year that was full of many firsts!
This is my second year of blogging and my first year of participating in reading challenges. I am thrilled to say I completed all three of them with flying colors! They are listed below with my rating and reviews linked.
I exceeded my Goodreads reading goal of 65 and read 69 books this year.
This was also my first year of tracking my reading stats. This a such a fascinating area to me and I leaned quite a bit doing it.
- I had the pleasure of discovering 32 authors that I had not previously read.
- 24 of the books I read were from my bookshelf or Kindle.
- 45% of the books I read had a publication date before 2018.
- I discovered a love for audiobooks and listened to 6 of them.
- Last, but not least I branched out to some genres that were either new for me or that I do not read often – crime fiction, a memoir, and some non-fiction.
